Vive

My family motto is Moriendo Vive, which translates to “In dying, live.” It is often used to express that a person’s legacy can live on after their death. Nothing seems more fitting than this in my life in many ways over. My Mom passed away on April 29th, 2022 unexpectedly, and on April 30th, 2024 at 6:31 AM my second son was born. I am sure my Mom was with us having a good chuckle knowing she wouldn’t have us feeling sad for too long on her behalf. I like to think she is back with my father waiting for us all at the lake.

So welcome to the world Baxter Gardiner Symonds. Named for Mary’s Grandfather William Allison Baxter Saunders and my Grandfather Henry Gardiner Symonds. Our family is blessed once again. Mom is feeling well. Bax is doing great. Mac is ecstatic for his baby brother. And Remy is sweetly watching out for us all. Moriendo Vive. Mom and Dad, you would be very pleased.
